Memories

Memories

Waving by at me a face,

A face of an infant, which makes me weak and debilitate,

Flushed, I turned my face away.

He touched me and asked me the way,

I wonder why me he interrogates,

I hanker to push him away,

In a flash he disappears,

But, now he appears everywhere.

No fears or images, shadows to hover,

Unbridled me,

Ubiquitous he protects me

An insignificant part of my life,

You strut and I care less,

You don’t overwhelm me or overtake me,

I don’t get hankered by your questions,

Nor do you pose a challenge to my mind,

Im free like a bird that crosses boundaries

Flies miles to cover it’s next destination.
